We had a great time, more laughs and missing tools than actual productivity, but that's how it is when you have a hyperactive child involved. We achieved the main objectives, got the old BB out, the fork mounted, and the rear hub all set and greased. I've got a rolling chassis to hang parts from now
View attachment 286468View attachment 286469View attachment 286470I actually got to stand over it and grab the bars for the first time. It's gonna fit without much seat post showing, that long silver one with the sofa cushion saddle was just for the stand to clamp
Well have more days before this is done next time later in the day we'll have beer involved.
Yes my ADHD shows through sometimes

So anyhow @MattiThundrrr , what else is in that box of goodies?

I know I have a set of black lx derailleurs,he's got a xt hg 90 cassette on there now, I've given him a black lx crank and who knows what else he'll dig up. I don't even know what he has in store

A little peek at my stash seems to be in order. Ingola and I know a guy who had a habit of buying out bike shops when they closed. Most of this stuff has been sitting around in boxes since the 90s. People who he has dealt with over the decades were never into mountain bikes, so I get to be the first to open all these treasures.

I know it's not much, but I swore I'd get one of these shark fins back in the day. That's the plan.

Not much?
That NIB shark fin would make people really nervous here in Germany. Used ones go for over 20€.
