o.K. time to push this one on.
I've been waiting for the perfect frame to come up (more or les a question of cashflow).
My perfect choise for the parts I've been gathering would be a 346 basman framebut 1) I cannot afford one right now and 2) the basman looks best with a wheelset of minimal 8 cm wide rims.
The wheelset I had made for this bike is 5.5 cm and looks pretty cool.

In combination with that 3 speed rear hub I will use my sturmey sportshift, also in these pictures, the breaklevers.

The frame is of an Electra deluxe, a cantilever frame with classic looks.

The lights I posted a picture of will not be the ones I'll be using, instead these will be fixed and be on this bike. aslo you see the stem i will be using.

Here a picture of the bike with the chainguard and fenders on.

The seat is for looks and will be replaced by a better one.

Been swaping out parts and mocking up the bars, not entirely happy with the hight the bars sit.
I can cut the steerertube down for about an inch or use a different stem.

That is looking Gooood! The seat really sets off the springer, and that stem is killer. That's one of those finds that just make your day.
It's going to be HIIIIIDEOUS!! But dressed to the nines! :lol:

I will use handlebar shims. I've got a clear idea about them bars now.

I've been adding some stuff,
mainly fenderstruts and taillight (was a headlight, I just replaced the clear lense for a conical red one).

I wasn't really happy with the way the handle bars looked on the bike, here's what I did instead, and it lookes a lot better I think.

Next I put the bars on the bike, installed the grips and brakelevers............

I'm not so pleased with the rearlight aswell, so that is the next thing I'm changing.........

Thanks, I do still like them, but not for this build.
I've got something different in mind for them, something that will do them more justice,
a bike that has a bit more fabrication done to it, just like them bars.
