Hay my buddy picked this one up I wish I could of got it first I have never seen one in person other than this one

The serialnumber is 0223708 would it make it a 1960?

March 12, 1962, if that's a C instead of an O. O wasn't used in the first digit because it looks like a 0. All the skippers I have seen are straight bar, either single or the double used in 61 and 62. I thought they all were double straight bar in 62 though, and I haven't seen the skipper name lettered like that, but here it is, from the 62 catalog: (the last year Skipper is listed in the catalog)

I notice also that your wheels have been swapped out, but they match, and look like standard 26", easier to find tires.

Thats a Neat bike Ive never seen one of those .. If you decide to part with the seat .(I believe its not correct for that bike .) I would be interested in it ..

Yea the rims are not schwinn nor is the seat he picked it up for 36 bucks Thanks for your help guys
