I have a bike that I have been thinking about selling. It is a bike that would bring maybe $50 to 75 even though it looks and rides like new.

However, if you look at parts like an alloy coaster brake rear wheel, A decent bike is worth more as parts.

Also, when you need a wheel it is cheaper to buy an entire used bike $20 to $40.

Times are strange. This is why I love the pickings on Garbage Day Eve.

yup I've said it before and say it again, its so worth while to buy a whole bike on clearance just for parts, through work I got two ladies cruisers, 1 with basic 26inch skinny wheels and one with skinny 700c wheels both with full fenders/guards rear carriers padded springer seats and alloy cruiser bars/stems, one for $60 and one for $100, over here the cheapest 26inch or 700c steel hubbed wheel is like $90 for front and $120 for rear(screw thread hub with no cluster) so getting a whole new bike cheaper than a new wheel is a no brainer
