Delicious and inspirational. Looks very effective. This is a get better life for an old MTB than to be relegated to cruiser duty. The way the rear brake is setup kinda scares me though, looks bind-ey.

Not scary or bindey at all, that's the OE setup (check the before pic in the build thread). This bike is 100% dealer, confirmed by this mutha a few otha muthas on a Velosolutions pump track.

Thanks for the props Matti. I have a few more in-progress for this kind of setup. So many people are relegating quality old MTBs into cruisers, townies, commuters, gravel, etc. and those functions are all legit. Even so, a well made vintage compact geo frameset can have a new radical life if one lets them.
