sweeeeeeeeeeet! Where does one aqcuire rims like these?

The rims used on my bike are Rigida DHL 80mm double Wall like those. http://www.thechopperdome.nl/shop/5/1/5 ... ouble_wall

The cheapest place i know, where you can get similar rims like those is here:
http://www.sm-parts.net/shop They sell almost the same just an other make. http://www.sm-parts.net/component/virtu ... egory_id=1

Here they sell also similar, just an other make again.
http://classic-cycle.de/index.php?stoke ... 6.80471172

At Choppers U.S. they sell also wide rims like the ones on my bike.

I just don't know if they are single or double wall.

Btw if you click the red link below, you can see the whole story and building of my bike.
Thanks Lowjack'r, you scoot is a real prize!

those are 100mm rims(choppers/cycles u.s.) and thick bricks(looks like the newer troy lee ones with the lettering removed either that or paint penned red stripe. hubs spokes....couldnt tell you since i didnt look that close)
*edit
front hub is the super wide from chopper/cycle u.s. and the rear is a nexus 3...couldnt tell you the spokes but the nipples are aluminum

Back in 2004/2005 - before the 80 and 100mm rims got to be readily available, there were other options. The Large Marge from Surly was the big one. These were built with that rim and the Fatti-O combination at that time, and have been in use since.
"Stretch Orangestrong" - 7 speed steel hub Nexus in a Large Marge

The "Rat Royale" project - 7 speed aluminum hub Nexus & a Large Marge

The "Blue Flame" - 7 speed aluminum Nexus, Large Marge (This bike was sold)

The Cannibal - 3 speed Sturmey & a Large Marge

Once they were done, I still had a nice Thick Brick lying on the floor, so it was test time. The test was passed - and here is the result. This is a stock framed '46 Schwinn DX with the Thick Brick on a 24" S-2 laced to a Bendix 2 speed kickback and it too has been in use for quite a while.

Thanks for looking!
