Has anyone else noticed this? The main function of the people wearing the red, orange or blue vests at big box stores and home centers seems to be not to make eye contact with customers!

The nicest old man Walmart employee asked me if I needed help the other night. I was looking for hose clamps. I was shocked he asked me. He was about 80 years old and acted like a caring, polite human being. That's getting rarer these days.
