Am not sure what a fair offer is, also not sure what year it is. Seller is telling me it is from the 30's a colson made Goodyear hi way patrol bike. Any help is much appreciated.

Late 30's to maybe 41 at latest. Is that a repaint? Nice find for your first post.

Yeah, I'd pick that up any day of the week. Late 30s Colson indeed. May be repainted but it's hard to tell from one far-off picture. Some of the lines look a little shaky to be factory. Looks good but would definitely be worth more if it's that nice and original.

It's hard to give price figures on one picture but I'd say 375-450$ is a fair price for both parties. If original paint, on the higher end of that and above, if not, then the lower end. It's got a nice seat, desirable chainguard, nice headlight, Colson specific dropstand, W/W balloons. Though, if you can get it cheaper, then all the power to ya. I'd love it for 250$

Thanks guys, all the input is much appreciated. I will check back after I negotiate a deal with the seller.

The bike has been re painted. Seller seems pretty firm at $300. The tires on it are Goodyear all weathers. I am on the fence right now because it will be a two and a half hour drive to pick it up. If I decide not to go for it I can hook someone up with the guys contact info.

Somebody nabbed it. It was on my local craigslist and eventually got pulled. Definitely worth the asking price; I should have probably thought more seriously about it.
