Too cool. Never see prewar chrome frames. Monark made one but I think it was post WW2.

Cool. I don't recall any one who placed the serial number on the seattube. Usually they are on the left rear dropout, Bottom Bracket or Head tube. The frame looks Schwinn- dropouts and smooth joints.

I dont know if this makes any differance, but the rivet holes are on the sides of the head

I think it looks like the "Blue Moon" bike maybe.

Not a Schwinn with those headbadge holes. Maybe a Hawthorne.

That looks a lot like a Hawthorne I just bought, except the serial number on mine is on the BB. I'm trying to find more info on mine too.

I want to thank you guys for the info, I have had this frame for almost 30 years, & learned more about it in the last week on this site!
Its going on the back burner for now, other project are coming together right now. but ill be riding it again this summer!
