so many projects and so little time. every two weeks i get to go to my other house some 50 miles away and this is where 16 more of my bikes stay, and i'm only down there for a day. think i am gonna bring down my 86' murray monterey 5speed conversion klunker but i am torn between one of twp bikes to bring back up. my 51' schwinn spitfire cruiser in all its unrestored originalness or my 62' jc higgins single speed cruiser that needs some paint work. decissions decissions, and as my 51' is THE bike that started it all for me and i love riding this bike, my 62' is unfinished business and i am thinking of making it my next project bike. which would you choose? the bike you absolutly love to ride and has the sentimental original rod feel to it or jump into my next project? thinkin of doing the primer black paint and fenders with white walls and colored rims, but i can't decide between red or white. it sits school bus yellow with black fenders and white rims and white walls.

i see lots of very cool bikes on this site and here is a chance to give me any ideas on my 62'. o may be able to get a pict up later today of some of my collection and would love to hear what you think or how youd go with it.

I go to college about 125 miles from my house, I just have projects at both places. So where ever I am at, I have something to work on! Plus it is a great reason to buy 2 of every tool you got! :D

i brought up the 62' jch cuz it needed the work done to it. i hate to beat up my 51' spitfire in the winter weather although it could probably take it the best. besides our bike rack at work is by the dumpsters in the corral and i am wailing for the day the trashmen get careless with the dumpsters and "oops" into one of my vintage bikes.

That is great dude, love the rhyming lol.

I guess you have to tackle your bike projects 1 by 1, instead of looking at them all as a whole.
