thoughts on a Raleigh Chopper?

i found one and im gonna go check it out tomorrow night im realy diggin the look...it needs work but it should be ridable in no time at all.....dude wants 125 for it but im gonna try talking him down a bit......for the most part it looks complete he sais the shifter is broken but other than that the faded paint and surface rust are no big deal to me

thoughts? should i jump on it? are they worth anything?

Fair price for a MK II but there should be some wiggle room there. This is probably the most common color. Do an eBay search for the parts you're going to need (Choppers always seem to need something - usually the little rare expensive parts...) Looks like it will need tires, a chainguard, correct grips, maybe shifter knobs, and pedals. I may be wrong but the stem looks like a MK I. Make sure the sissy bar isn't frozen in the frame as they are a real bear to remove when they are. Check the frame thoroughly for cracks and make sure the fork is straight. MK I's were more crack prone than the later bikes but do it anyway to be sure.

parts seem fairly cheap on ebay.... im defanetly gonna try going down on the price im gona go look at it at 6 tonight

i honestly dont wanna pay more than 75 for it...i want a muscle bike but dont want a stingray seeing as my buddy has one and my dad has a repop pea picker

to be honest im supprised its not $300 here...people think just is worth gold around here....i sold my old rotted out 82 GT mustang Shell for $200 and say it immediatly on craigslist a week later for $1500

Depends if you are the Buyer of the Seller. People say. WOW I SAW it on EBAY. IT was 2500.00 But is that what it sold for or what someone was asking for it?

it was bad...not worth more that maybe $30 passed...using the money for a speedo and kick stand for my cwc bike
