what kind of stapler did you use to tack down the edges?

It's a Mastercraft, from Canadian Tire.Takes normal t50 staples. The only thing I don't like about it is that you can't put alot of weight on it,you squeeze it at the front instead of a regular gun that you squeeze at the back.Great xmas gift though and I thanked my Grandma very much!

Re: Timber Baron

Got the chainring more or less done tonite.I swappped the original with a solid one. It's not dished so I had to shim it.

Lots of leather leftover from the seat, managed to cut some 3ft+ strips from it and worked on the grips.I'm going to tweak it a bit but here's what I arrived at.The bar end is an old car upholstery(?) button

That chainring looks amazing. Now I am wondering if I can make a skiptooth chainring out of a saw blade for a future build.
Thanks. You should try to make a chainring,it crossed my mind once or twice.Run with it!

Re: Timber Baron **truss rods**

I managed to get my truss rods and bracket done.I used a chunk of brass from a bracket, an axle and cones for the hardware.

Great looking bike! Thanks for proving that that lighting method works. Universal thought process in effect. Peace

Re: Timber Baron *headlights on*

Love your lights, but they would be REALLY sexy if you turned them around.
