Could anyone help me determine what rim size this tire would need,

http://store.coker.com/b.f.goodrich-bicycle-red.html

I am currently running a 28" on what is (I believe to be) a Raleigh tourist. If I were to use the BFG tires on a smaller rim do you think it would look out of place on the bike or would the added height from the tire fill in the space nicely. Anything is appreciated. Thanks.

*With all the arbitrary methods used for bicycle tire and wheel sizing I am nervous about buying the wrong size rim*

im sure somebody on here will be able to jump in and help you.

speaking of jumping, why dont you jump over to our intros section and tell us all a little more about yourself!! :D

(first time ive ever gotten to say that!!!)

I was also considering a schwabble cream colored tire in a 28". Anyone have an opinion on these tires?

Schwalbe makes great tires. Just remember if you buy a cream colored tire, or anything other than black, it's going to pick up a little road dirt and discoloration. Personally, I think it looks even better that way and it gives them a lot of character, but some people want the "new" look.
