This was my first build off. I would like to thank you all for your interest in this build, and most of all, thank you to all who helped with info and encouragement. I doubt if I would have finished without your assistance.
The inspiration for this bike was a Top Fuel drag bike. I started with two Roadmaster MTB frames, one a 24" bike and the other a 20".
Some highlights of the build,
Two frames made into one with added bracing, extended top tube, relocated BB, and raked head
Engine turned rims
Paint- Black base with Gold Ice Pearl, graphics are done with a Graphite mettalic base, Silver Mini Flake, Aztec Gold Candy with Candy Rootbeer fogging, Pinstriping is Imitation Gold One-Shot.
Nitrous water bottle with gauge, knob that started out as a model car tire, braided hose from a defunct portable air compressor, and drilled out brass fittings
Shifter made from a twist grip, with a motorcycle foot lever
Shortened cranks
Scratchbuilt chain guard
Gold EVERYWHERE!
This is what the stock bike looked like.
The two frames I used,
A view of the flake I used to paint it,

Although I have finished it enough to make the deadline, there are a couple of things I still want to do on the Fool. Mainly a clear cover for the chainguard (if there is clearance), and the kickstand.
Two things I learned while building this bike, fleece lounge pants are NOT good welding attire, and if you plant to cut and grind a lot of metal, barefoot is Not the way to go!
