Trailmate bmx redo, getting closer to being done

Got this the other day and decided to update the look.
The sprocket was 80s hot pink that was well faded.

Done some powder coating today,should look sweet once I get the bolts polished

Looking good,How well does the powdercoat hold up on the chainring ? I have never had a chainring done but would like to try it.

Luke thanks, that gun was the best thing I ever found at a thrift store. Dale I did the chainring on my build off bike and its held up pretty good, I dont expect it to last for ever on the teeth

Checked out the first sprocket I did and its more just worn on a few teeth which may just be that they are bent a little bit.

Cleaned up the bolts and got it all together. Going to try and clean up the paint on the frame, fork and bars. Will be coating the crank and rims black. Thought about red rims but think that would be to much red.

Fitting parts and cleaning the frame, Used a nail brush and awesome orange on the frame and it lightly scuffed up the paint some so, may end up powder coating the frame. Found a tire with almost the same tread for the rear but its to wide for the frame So will keep looking. And found a seat that will do until I find a red one.

This was actually the pan from a coinlli padded seat. Looks pretty good as a BMX seat.

Got the crank powder coated after having to fix my gun. will post pics tomorrow when I get it put together.
