Trestle Collapsed on My Bike Path

I rode the Tempe Town Lake bike paths many times when I lived in the Valley of the Sun for 15 years. It was also a good way to access the Indian Bend path in Scottsdale.
- The Tempe Town Lake RR Bridge collapsed this morning with ten cars on it. Nasty fire too. The bike paths underneath it will not be open again for a spell.
-Maybe they will reconsider that infrastructure bill again in Washington after this incident.

Something like this happened in Minneapolis awhile back, a highway bridge collapsed from age and neglect.
This bridge may have been okay structurally, the derailment seems to have happened first, then the bridge went down.
The first order of business after putting out the fire should be the bike path detour route.

Finished in 1915. Looks like it held up pretty well. Knowing UP they probably already have the bridge fixed but the trail underneath not so much.
