thanks... Some of that putty stuff that they sell on TV that repairs ceramic cups and stuff.. I forgot the name of it.. Not a very strong hold though, I had a couple pop off when I was putting them on. Anybody got any ideas?? Thats what I attached the Ram with.... Im going to paint that putty, you can sand it too. The Ram is on real strong.

Did they pull the paint off when they popped off?

Ya might have to scrape the paint off to bare metal where you want them to stick.

No they didnt pull the paint off..The problem isn't the caps sticking to the metal, the problem is the caps sicking to the putty.... I guess I could just try some superglue on the top of the putty.?

Superglue "might" work...If it sticks to that rubberized/silicone/teflon type molded gasket in the cap.

I you didn't mind the look, you could flatten the caps out so they look like tiny little suns. After that a small piece of automotive 3m double sided tape would do the trick.

a small rivet through the center might look cool too.....would definitely hold it in place.

I tried smashing them and didn't like the look to much.. The rivet idea is great...Might have to try.. Thanks for the input and keep it coming.

You know I like the beer bikes.
Try using silicone. It sticks to everything and it flexes, unlike a glue that dries to solid. You need an adhesive that will flex with the fender. Try it, I think thats the answer.

Or try butyl. It's that black gooey tape that is used to set windshields. Sticks to about everything and would conform to the shape of the cap and fender.
