Well....I don't know...just a personal thing I guess.

I think they look really cool, but I don't like the way they feel when you ride.

Seems like I don't have as much control over the bike.

Nice job on the paint. I like the black rims with the black tires. I have used the epoxy appliance paint with good results.

black wheels, black tires with white stripes- looks perfect.

and epoxy paint when dried will harden up- great stuff! i use it often.

Blackwalls look good...but these really set it off!

1 white rims - look good

2 black rims - look good but looks heavier

3 black rims with retrorunners - look good but looks heavier but slightly faster looking than the blackwalls

its a tie between 1 and 3 with me

I really like the white/cream rims but I think I like the black with the retorunners better... that is if you keep everything else b&w... chainguard, seat and grips.

The paint looks great!!! Aerosol epoxy may take a little longer to cure than two part pre-mixed? The hardest thing I've found using it is trying to keep dust particals off of it until it hardens. The two part pre-mix takes about 72 hours to get to a good cure at room temp. Yours looks great. Thanks!!!

I like those Retro Runners.
I tried to get one (one for the front) in a red-line, but Electra is out....not sure about the white.

I ended up ordering a "Street Racer".
Similar, but I'm not sure I'll like it....tread pattern-wise.

The Klunk Rod looks AWESOME!

Threw on this seat and seat post and set of grips to see what it would look like.

My LBS hooked me up with a black wheel set for super cheap...should be here in a week or so.

These shots are mainly for grins....looks pretty good like this too...just not as mean...he he. :lol:

Those tires are Schwinn Typhoon 26 x 2.125 tires that they put on repro Schwinn cruisers.
