I wasn’t very creative with the name in this bike, but turns out that it works in a few different ways.
-My last BBO bike was TWENTY2
-My last BBO was 7 years ago
-This bike I’m running 29’s
-TWENTY2 + 7 = TWENTY9!

I knew I wanted to build a klunker or BMX cruiser. In the end, klunker won.

-1940’s Snyder built Hawthorne frame, clear coated bare metal.
-Monarch single spring springer fork
-29” double wall coaster brake wheel set
-Vintage Brooks B72 hairpin saddle
-WTB ThickSlicks
-Euro BB conversion setup to run sealed BB
-Vintage Sugino 3 piece cranks and 175 arms. Hand sanded and polished.
-Black ops double gooseneck.
-Black Klunker bars
-Felt Devox MTB grips.

All in all, a pretty simple build, but she rolls really fast, and gets looks everywhere I take her.

It’s made for 26” wheel. The 29’s barely fit! [emoji41]

I’ll make sure to get that fixed. Tapatalk is odd on how it uploads pictures.

My wife literally talked me in to putting the bike on the forum the other day after we rode to breakfast. It was originally just going to be for the Sacramento Cyclefest pre show ride...and went from there to here.
