sorry if I upset anyone, what I meant was that no one will pay $4300 for a nice looking bike, and as a show bike it's just too incorrect. the day he gets $4300 for it is the day I start slapping parts together and making lots of money, sadly it doesn't work like that his audience is either going to reject the bike or find out later that they paid way too much.
not to get more into this than anyone wants to go but it's a 1938 model 14TS frame with 1939 fenders, braces and rack. in 1938 they used a 9 hole rack and flat fender braces. it also has the wrong reflector housing on the rear fender which sounds like nit picking but to be correct it takes a different one which leaves an open hole, and requires the drilling of another hole elsewhere. it looks like all the hardware for the springers and pivots is wrong. even as an all correct bike it would never bring that kind of money, around $2500 is the top I would expect a really great one to go for.

It seems like when it first hit Ebay and the other guy owned it , they wanted $2300 for a buy it now price. I thought about it then and my brother talked me out of it. Its been in Co. for several years now and the price has steady gone up, but never sold. In looking back I was sitting in front of a computer, with my finger on the trigger....glad its not mine now.
