Two wheel drive Schwinn

I spotted this rig at the flea market this morning, it's a Schwinn Sierra outfitted with a 2wd system and a 2 wheel resistance training stand. It had a nice pair of Sturmey drum brake hubs that caught my eye, and might have been worth haggling for. The seller was evasive about the price, which is always a bad sign, and I wasn't really interested in buying it to part out - too many ongoing projects already...

I remember seeing people riding these about 15 years ago, and thinking they looked pretty silly. In better shape than me perhaps, but still silly.

cant say ive seen that before :shock: i agree with the silly, i usually dont like chains and teeth that close to my face while riding :mrgreen:

An all wheel drive CLUNKER, I like it, at least for the uphill climb
