Ok I've went through the time line of my life and based upon that I'd say it was 86 or 87 when I bought this bike new.
I probably bought it based on the looks (color scheme) alone

Hey Hooch I literally picked up a Traveler about a half hour ago at a thrift shop, this one is all pearl white but it is Chicago branded I paid forty just because it was pretty clean already. A little more than I usually pay but hopefully it will redeem itself I just dont know the value to much on these things yet. I will post pictures when possible.

it did have a chainguard on it once the guy said it got bent and he added a front derailer for what reason i do not know lol
it has an 81 sticker on it
and the seat was put on new when he bought the bike it cost him 50 extra he said
