Unique or Common?

hey,
well i havnt been too long in the bike scene well at least not as long as some of u

so i came across this stem and handlebars at a bike swap dirt cheap $2.00, and thought, eehh i guess ill have some use for later on

anyways, after looking at it i noticed it was a little different than most Schwinn stems i seen, its super flat on top and has a hard edge
usuall theyre a little more rounded

so any knowledgable people who can give any info on this would be really appreciated.

You're right, a Schwinn stem would be thinner. I think it's a generic Wald or other stem from the 50s. Still cool though! -Adam

oh kool! thanks so u think its a Wald 1950's stem?, guess i did allright for $2 including some handle bars
