1948 B.F. Goodrich/Schwinn
While I don't usually pick the ladies bikes, this one had to demand attention, brought it home yesterday. The old gentleman bought it for his wife new in 48, and she rode it very little. Unfortunetly she passed recently.
As found, original paint, stored inside the home all it's life. Vurtually like new. Love the wine color!

I was having trouble too using Firefox, A member here told me to use Chrome instead and my issues vanished. I suspect that is your issue as well. Just trying to help!

Brilliant! Using off site places IMHE you just end up with a forum full of posts with no pictures that become somewhat meaningless and frustrating and no good for anyone. Server bill will go up, but its the cost of doing business Very much appreciated.

That's a model D37XE-8. It normally would also have a rack but BFG bikes sometimes came differently equipped. I wonder why they changed the Schwinn grips? Maybe she had small hands.?? Beautiful bike. Gary

Your probably right. She was only about 5' to 5'2". I asked about a rack, he said it didn't come with one. I assumed that was a B.F. Goodrich thing.
