Here are some pictures of where I'm at with mine. It was originally a pretty bright red as evidenced by the original paint inside the headtube. This bike came out of Boise so years of high desert sun faded it to this orangish-red. Keeping with that theme (accidentally) the originally black Kooka cranks are a purple color thanks to the Arizona sun and the Araya 7Xs are faded to almost pink by the California sun, haha!

I'm not done but it's a start. -9 here this morning so I've got plenty of time before I'm riding it...

Lol the spikes are the one thing I would remove. I'd have to. So clumsy, my legs would be shedded
