I heard that Behind Bars Inc. gets there rims from Cycles US and then sells them under their name but it says on their website that you can get single wall or double and Cycle US doesn't offer that option. I was just wondering if there is much of a difference besides one being $5 cheaper in the silver version on both sites (they will be powder coated so color doesn't matter just quality and price).....

I am not to worried about price but if I can get it cheaper then why not? Regardless just wondering if anyone on here has ever compared the two maybe or can comment on BBI quality, I know a lot of you rub the cycles us wheels and all seem to like them.

Also I have a simple question that I'm sure you guys will know the answer to quick. I was planning on running a Shimano Nexus 3 hub and I know that works well with the 24x100mm but I'm now thinking about running a Nexus 7 would that be a problem or are there any disadvantage to this hub vs. the Nexus 3.

Single wall rims make drilling more spoke holes a lot easier. The double wall rims may be a little stronger, but for street use this will not be an issue.

Bump. Can someone confirm that the lacing pattern above is ok for a cruiser bike and the BBI wheels I'm about to order?
