Make it a fixed gear and learn to trackstand. Or safer yet rig up a lever that lowers stabilizing legs when you stop.

My neighbor added a schwinn trike rear end to a tallbike we built him. It tipped over so easily it wasn't ridable.

Wish I would have gotten a picture while it was together.

yeah i guess my trikes are a bit tip at ground level ... should have thought of that
