Vintage Bicycle Workstand

I found this awesome workstand at the dump this morning for $30. Branded "BECON". Heavy cast base, sliding parts/tool tray. Haven't decided if I'll leave it as is or restore. It'll come up a treat with a wire brushing and coat of hammertone. Either way, it'll get plenty of use .

You paid 30 bucks at the dump for the stand or did you pay 30 to dump at the dump..?

My local dump has a recycling "store" called "Trendy Trash". If stuff doesn't sell, after a while it ends up in a scrap metal pile. Nearly all my bike frames come from there as well. I'm just glad I could save it from becoming a toaster.
