Vista lil' Giant

Not mine yet, but I will be picking this up Friday for $40 off local CL ad. Can anyone tell me more about this bike, or about Vista brand? it's going to be for my 2 year old, when he's older to learn how to ride without training wheels. It's got to be better than any walmart bike out there. Any info would be appreciate, thanks!

I think they were made by Columbia for former Schwinn dealers who got dropped by Schwinn for refusing to carry only Schwinn bikes

That would make sense. The crank looks very similar to the one on my 63 columbia torpedo. This will be a pretty sweet daddy-son lookalike bike

I had one of these. Never found much info on it. Definitely built by columbia

Columbia also put out a bike under the badge of Merideth...

I've heard of Vistas before. Looks like a good little bike in descent condition.
