this is my first build off bike. this is what im starting with, i got it a few months ago as a parts bike. and was gonna use the remains to build a gravity bike, but a rat rod is cooler.

im going for a old skool military look.

started by picking off the stickers and using a wire wheel to take off most of the paint.

then sanded by hand for a little while. and added some different paint. RATtle can of course.

not so bad for a couple of hours.

Who is that frame made by and is it a 20" wheel?

its a huffy pork chopper and its a 20, i got one i did for a friend. fun frame to use a blank canvas

If you cut out and moved the stay crossmembers I wonder how much larger wheel you could fit in the back?

its a long chainstay but it gets pretty narrow too

I'd definately try that... But it would be indeed the more narrow tires that'll fit...

You might get 24 x 2.125's in there. I had to widen the stays on one I had to fit 24 x 2.5 Hookworms.
