Wards Hawthorne serial number date identification

I recently purchased a skip tooth Wards Hawthorne bike but don’t know what year it is. Could someone with that knowledge please give me a hand in finding out what year it is. The serial number is as follows: G60694.

Looks just like Coppertooth, even the same chain guard I got it with. Just the handlebars are different and less curve in the downtube. 1946. Coppertooth was a J number so it was early 47, G is mid 1946.

I'm also looking to date a Wards Hawthorne. It looks the same as the bikes above except not the curved fender braces. Serial Number A 15476 If anyone has a good guess as to the year I would appreciate it. Im fitting a Travis motor to it. Also want to find a chain guard. Is the one in the picture above the style I should be looking for?

That's a 1953, the 53Cw is the indicator. The earlier models had a curved second top bar while yours is a straightbar. Here's a 53 I had:
