Wayfarer? Help...

Hey guys,

Got these two bikes yesterday, having a hard time identifying them.

They say WAYFARER on the chain guard, but the only wayfarer I can find info on are the 7-speed Schwinn's

Any ideas?

Pretty positive they are Huffy built

I looked into Huffy serial numbers...and it seems they all start with a number, which corresponds to the last digit of the year they were built.

All of the numbers stamped on this bike begin with a letter. Guess it will remain a mystery...

All I can say is, bring them here. One of the two local shops in town is called Wayfarer Cycle.

Those are 80s or early 90s. I bought a new Huffy good vibrations in 1996, had the same chainring, guard, etc. -Adam

Definitely Huffy, I would guess '70s based on the giant reflectors and full length fenders. I think they switched to the Good Vibrations name mid-late 70's.

I just found this bike too. Did you find any information about it? Mine has a Cotter and Co/True Value logo on it... maybe 1970s?
