Terry's a bit partial to Higgy's. Check his build off bike.

It also might help that I shipped a Higgins frame to him. 8)

Yep, I do have a thing for Higgins tank bikes, but my vote can't be bought :lol: :lol: :lol: (even with a cool Higgins frame coming my way!). Honestly, I think I like Monark/Firestone bikes a little more than Higgins bikes, although I have never owned a Monark. This is probably the best head to head competition I have seen so far. Both bikes have things that I really like and a few things that I would have done differently, but thats the coolness of this site is to see what different stuff people come up with!

and added a small touch.

Oh man, that's sweet!! :shock: I like the way those handlebars are pushed forward and down with that stem, it flows with the rear rack nicely :wink: Can't wait for more pics!

I've been quietly following this showdown from the start. You have both built fantastic bikes!

I've got a black-on-black build in the works now as well, this has been an inspiration, but this may my favorite touch so far, I actually like the lines of this better bike than the stock triangles!

If i had more time I would be adding some horizontal flutes. I am very happy with the size and extended shape. It is more subtle from above looking at the bike.
