Weird, folding, ?

Anybody seen one of these before?

At the vintage market. They have 100 bones on it. I'm thinking $20.- for wall art at best.

That's a Vagabond! Branded Firestone, I think it was made by Monark in the 60's.
Wave a 20 in the air and see if they'll take it. Then new 16"? tires and clear coat over the patina and you're set!

I passed on one years ago. I should have gotten it.

MTD and Western Flyer called them Hi-Lo, Firestone called them Vagabond. MTD had the deluxe model with the Bendix blue band 2 speed or the Sachs 2 speed.

I have an mtd hi-low. I gave $50 for mine a couple of years ago. It's fun for beer runs an people like to talk about it.

Use this ebay listing to bargain with them. The seller of this excellent condition Vagabond hasn't been able to even get $90 for his and it is in MUCH better shape.
Look like fun little bikes though.

Those are cool little bikes, I have one too. It's not a folder tho, it's a break apart. It it's two pieces held together by two pins inside the frame and that lock knob on top.
Oh, and a bit heavy for the size.

With the 52 tooth sprockets they are geared so high I think mine does 30 mph!
