Weird Gripper Tire!!

I picked up a 66 Rail the other day and it had this Crazy looking tire...

It's called a Everest-Jennings and it's kind of grey not black...

I've seen it before. It's a motorized wheelchair tire. But they give a cool look to a muscle bike.

Neat tires, a little heavy.. those show up on ebay from time to time.
They also were used, in black color .. on the Roadmaster ' bling bling (sic) repro bikes in the ? 90s / early 200s.. I have one someplace, buried off one of those bikes.
