I bought a huffy rail a wile back and I'd like to restore it a bit. It looks all stock but all i have seen are 5 speed with the shifter. Mines a fixed gear. Is this correct? Any one know parts suppliers for remaned seats or the slick tires? I can still ride it but the tires are so worn its unbelievable there still holding air.

i think they came in single and 3 speed also. i have nearly that same frame and mine is a single speed. doesn't have any scratches or marks where it looks like a shifter would have been. when i come up with some extra cash for it, i mean to play with it as an "the wheel" inspired bike.

edit: found a pic

yea mine is original paint and i cant see were one was mounted but i couldent find any pics besides of geared ones. and yea i bought the bike with the fork bent ill straiten it out eventually. i bought it and filled up the tires and road it miles and miles mostly on one wheel its the best bike for wheelies ive ever rode. sadly my heavy butt took its toll and now every single spoke on the rear rim is loose. i stopped rideing it untill i can fix it up a bit. i wana redo the wheels. get new tires and a new orange metal flake seat and a rear fender thats not bent up. anyone know where i can get the red line slick and tiny front?
