western flyer 3 speed

In the haul of bikes I got today was a western flyer 3 speed girls bike I dont plan on rebuilding it since the rims are bent beyond repair. but plan on using the parts from it on other builds, It has some cool M shaped handle bars I plan on using on a cruiser build im doing. the question I have is, is there any way to use the rear internal 3 speed hub with a cruiser rim? their both 26 inch haven't had a chance to count the spokes to see if they will match up

Yes, those hubs are used with cruiser rims, I put one on my old Schwinn, a Shimano 3 speed w coaster brake. Most are 36 spokes.

thanks thought they would but wanted to check before I starting something I havent done in 20 plus years. Its going to be a 58 sonic flyer girls bike with the western flyer 3 speed hub and handle bars. I has thinking about just going with a mountain bike rear hub but think it will be cooler to still look like a single speed rim
