Western Flyer Muscle Bike

Bike I did this past summer. Original front fork was bent. Replaced it with a 26". Had to cut the head tube down a bit for it to fit. NOS seat. Schwinn glitter grips. Rattle can paint. Laced up a Shimano 3spd. NOS gooseneck shifter. Used the straight sissy bar differently and had to put a bend in it.

My Wife and Grandson rode it in the "parade ride" at the bike fest.

I wish I could say that the fade paint job was planned but it wasn't. I started out planning to paint the whole bike metallic purple with that 2 step metallic paint. I put on the silver base coat first and just by chance started the purple coat at the head tube. Before moving on to the rest of the bike I stepped back to see how it was looking and liked what I saw and stopped there.

I realy like what you did withe the bike, the before and after shots realy say a lot. NICE PAINT, the front sprocket is nice (don't give them away) and I noticed the creative work with the ''sissy bar''....nice job!
