I think it's a columbia 59 western flyer. I just love the bike.
here is what it looked like when I got it.
cleaned the rims and bars from a schwinn, so happy some one invented steel wool
rims after a good clean up and new rubber
bars cleaned up
Walmart headlight idea from here. put a flash light with a hole drilled to the back so it sticks out and I can turn it on and off.
also did some paint mathing on the patina of the bike
got the frame, fork, and tank clear coated today, just need to get the fenders and chain guard cleared also
seat post idea from here
other things to do is clena the original seat and paint it, and new grips.
