That's a nice original condition CWC Western Flyer. The chain guard looks like the only thing not original. You got a lot of paint left on that. Anything I come across with that much original paint I keep original. Rubbing compound by hand, wipe it off with a clean rag and buff it up a little and it will look great. If the crud on it is real thick which it looks like it might be go over it a second time. As long a your doing the rubbing compound by hand the finish will be safe. Have fun with it!

I don't know, but I thought the chain guard was stock..............As what I'll do with it,not sure, but want a good home for it in RVA only!

The chain guard is an after market guard but it is very desirable. Clean that back up to the chrome and it's still a winner. I've picked up a couple of those on bikes I purchased and I like them because they are nice & big without being gawdy or distasteful. The chain guard and the front wheel are the two parts I find most often replaced on bikes I have bought. Just clean it up and you'll like it.

It does look good, and kinda goes with the badge design! I may keep the bike, don't know yet. If I do sell,to one of my friends in RVA,am just gonna get my money back. Want some one who will do this bike right!
