Western Flyer?

Thinking of picking up this Western Flyer for my girl. Looks to be in pretty good shape, but not sure if its work getting. Anyone have any info on what year this is & what it may be worth? Seller asking $150. Thanks guys!

My sister had one. It was a 1960. I can't say for sure....1960 was a long time ago, but I've seen ads with something that looks like that. $49.00 new IIRC.

I'd say it's probably 1963-67ish, it has the Spaceliner style tank. $150 seems like a good deal, it looks to be in very good shape. -Adam

Ended up picking it up yesterday. This is her 3rd bike. Now who has the sickness?? :mrgreen:

Way cool bike! My wife is up to 5 now, 3 she knows about and the other two bought in the name of, "I will pick it up for my wife. Yeah, that's the ticket." philosophy. I have her quite the collection going now. :lol:

I'll post a couple close-ups, but I could swear the frame is chrome underneath the metallic blue paint. Does this sound right? :?
