I think this ('72) was the first year of yellow. Before, they were red or black.

I fixed up the Atala with some spare parts and gave it yo a friend who has really been wanting a road bike for a while.

I posted the 26 inch '71 earlier in the thread and I just recently picked up this '74 20 inch. Both were purchased a the local dealership 2 miles from me. The shop is still there and a Schwinn days holdover still owns it. The '71 is my wife's and my 2 kids each have a couple of Schwinn's already so the little one got quickly packed away in storage. When I get to it I have a nice banana seat and some Junior apes for it. If you count all 7 reds I probably have 14 different color bikes and whenever the yellow bike comes out someone always makes a comment on it. I'm working on procuring the parts for mine right now.

1968 lemon peeler original. Needs new front tire and seat. Rear tire period correct think added at time. I’m no expert ( learning). Got from guy who got from original owner to flip.
