What am I going to do with this?

So, I got this trike. It folds. It's going to be for my wife, she wants a "normal" riding position so the apes gotta go.

So tell me, what do you do to a trike like this? Are there other builds on trikes like this out there?

I'd throw a springer front end on it, loose the basket, possibly stretch the back a bit and put a small truck like bed on it. Chopped radio flyer wagons work great for this. If it was for me I'd put an insane stretch to the back and make a flatbed bike hauler out of it.

I'd cut the rear end off and add it to a cruiser frame. 8)

put a ww2 era footlocker on the back, paint it drab green, and crome all the little odds and ends, age the paint a smidge to match the footlocker and enjoy. :mrgreen: i might be biased by the footlocker and bomb box in my room

Y'know snydur, that's what we were thinking. Kinda like a WW2 Jeep. I've seen a lot of builds like that on here. The main tube isn't really old style looking, if you get what I mean but... She likes the military stuff so that might work.

Now here's a funky idea, she is WAY into the space program. She loves the history of space flight the astronomy and everything like that. So how could a person incorporate that into a build???

Any ideas guys? Moon buggy? A trike to carry parts around the assembly area? Geez, this is a funky idea, I don't know if I could make it work. Help me out here huh?

Hmm, NASA build.....you could get some moon disk wheel covers to give it that space age look, Paint it white, few NASA logos, Still do a wagon bed but paint it white, and an American flag hanging off the back. :wink:

Replace the apes with some mountain bike bars with a 4 inch rise. They would be wider and and lower than the apes. Personal preference: I'd replace the metal basket with a stained wooden box of some kind.

For a trike small apes are the norm. I can't imagine what the ride would be like with other bars. Maybe just lower those or find some shorter ones.

did u buy the seat and grips as a set? ive been looking for that color but not sure what colors matched...do u mind telling me the brand of both and where u got them...thanks in advance
