Over on that other site some of the more inclusive members were discussing what is country music and yes @Slow-Rider Mr. Jackson could not be more correct. I don't have a extensive country background. Charlie Daniels and the Outlaws were played often at my house and of course I was raised on "Hee Haw" . Check out this clip I found of Roy Clark I have a new found admiration of him. you can find videos of him preforming the complete song but this is awesome because it has "The Odd Couple" as well another great show I grew up with.

Roy was amazing. Banjo, guitar, slide guitar. Once I saw him reach in his pocket, pull.out a nickel and use it for a slide and play what he called the Nickel Blues, or something like that.
