well the faring had to go to many cracks in the fiberglass do to age. 80's Hutch HPV Race bi8ike. a fad started in 1988 to make basically 20" scaled down Velodrome cycle style race bikes. that would be raced in pop up parking lot race tracks round the country and other country's called F1 racing. most 80's bmx brands got in on the fad and sold frame/fork sets to build up a race bike. plus sold ready to race complete models in different price ranges. depending on how hot a street/ parking lot race bike you wanted.. IE the Ellet top line models used Shimano Durace top of the line components and full 4130 chromoly frames, sealed bearing wheels.. other entry level models had Suntour or Shimano VIA bolted on high ten steel frames with lose ball hub wheels. some high end models had faring's like a Rice rocket style motorcycle. to help with the claimed aerodynamics of the race bike. IE made it faster. mine had a 11 tooth for top speed out back. 52 & 56 tooth up front. the other rear gears help me get to a rolling start. then shift up from 52 to 56. drop down in back to the 11 for max speed.I'm sorry @Slow-Rider . You are not allowed to just drop this off and then run.
