And I thought I would ask since I didnt get much response the first time..... Where do I go from here...

I bid on some whitewalls on ebay, but I got those black handlebars (not pictured) and Black Grips it might ruin the look. Whats the look, I dunno hardest bike to see at night I guess.

I would also like to move the 7sp shift, but it really wouldnt fit anywhere else except the gooseneck piece.

I appreciate any and all input.

THANKS

you can get handlebar shim at any bike shop!

I literally Spend HOURS thinking of NEW ways
to Mount Shifters.
It hurts my Brain...my desire to have a Unique
Piece gets the Best of me some times...

You can get rid of The Grip Shifter and find a Shimano
Compatible Vintage Shifter and Put it almost anywhere...
or Fab your own like I did out of an Old 5 Speed Ladies
Shifter Lever...with The Door Knob attached after.

Word on the street is that a shimano front derailleur shifter will work for an old 333 and a 3 speed nexus.

Where would I find a Nexxus and how hard is it to change em out.

PS None of the shops (3) I went to had handlebar shims although, one did say to use a thin piece of conduit.

First a Shim Trick.....Go to a Hardware Store in The Roofing Section.
They Have Zinc Strip in a Role for your Roof...
It Stops The Moss From Growing on yourRoof.
A New Role is about $12.00.
See if The Guy will just give you a Small Piece...some times they will for nothing.

The Zinc Strip is VERY Soft and Maluble.
You can Cut it with Snips...or GOOD Scissors.
Cut The Desired Piece..wrap around Bar.
And The Moss will never grow on your Headset

Nexus 3

Watch Craigslist/E Bay for a Crusty Older Del-Sol Cruiser.
They have them.

Or Buy a Bike for CHEAP that is in a Shop.
That has a 3 on it.Like a Last Years Model they are Clearing out.
Take The Rear Wheel off with Hub,Buy a Cheaper Coaster Brake wheeel
from The Shop at The Same Time....Mount it back on and sell
The Bike on Craigslist as a Brand New Bike with a Single Speed
Coaster Brake.....for about $50.00 Cheaper.
( this will sell in about a Day!!! )

Then You have a Nexus 3 Speed Brand New for about $50.00,
Sounds like I've Done this Before....

shims

WELL.. when you are done drinking that soda thinking about it and staring at youre bike cut the can into strips and use the can strips

I'm a photographer so I use film canisters...since going digital 7yrs ago I have boxes of film with metal canisters..[its the case that the film is inside of] and yes I've used them on a number of bikes even my mountain bike 8) 8) 8)

we got those shims heck a whole stack of them but then again half the bizz we do involves cruisers of some sort. as for your bike i like it but please remove the plastic shipping disks off the rear wheel  you could also swap the stem to a BMX style that will work with your bar.
