Then why can't I find a serial number? It hasnt been tampered with so where is it???

the number was stamped on that plate{only}.
i have seen several. of these Monarks with the plate gone. this plate gets knocked-off some time along the way.your cycle is just one-of-thousands
that where built.collector value is very low on ladies frames. they do make great donors to redo a dudes bike.

I understand that, but that's another thing, there's no holes where that plate should have been.

There should be a metal plate on the BB, with a serial and model # stamped on it. The serial will usually be decodeable for the year. -Adam

the rivets where very small,the tag
can be removed, & the BB hit with sanding disc. rivets smoothed out. usualy happaens with most repainted
