What fork is this.

I can't seem to find out what this fork is off of , I imagine and older motorcycle.

I'm sure one here knows.

Looks like a one-off hand made girder fork. I suppose it may have come from an ancient moped.

If you enlarge the photo ,thank you iPad the side plates or girders look to de a stamped formed piece so I think it's commercial don't know what from though .

Ruff cycles uses those forks. I think they're old MC girders from Europe. I bet O'malleys could repro them.

Yes, they are old forks they are using. Ask Silverbeach, he bought one of those bikes from them.

I'd say your fork is a German design, if not German manufactured. Here's one similar from the Wehrmacht...1940's. Gary

Also search Rixie. German manufacturer and I guess these were used on their tandems.

Here's my (possibly AJS) girder fork. Kind of similar to the first photo. Pressed steel plates. I added the lower cross link to be welded to a steerer tube. Fits a 26" wheel just fine..

After seeing some of these girder forks, I am wondering if I could mimic the girder profiles with some sheet metal and attach it to my Girvin fork as a cosmetic skin. That way I would keep the modern functionality of the Girvin but the look of an old girder fork.
