1939 Elgin of some merit. I think it's a Three Star but I may be mistaken. Picked up last night, overhauled until 2am. Rode today.
It was missing some odds and ends. I had the seat lying about the last decade so I threw that on. Grips are borrowed off another rider.

This bike is super solid. No rattle or creaking, even on what appear to be slightly later model All-State Safety Treads. $50 well spent for a project.

Your bike is a perfect example of "Princess Harry's" Nan! the bikes would look good together!

Sure is a pretty nice pair up.
I think you'd have me in a sprint, though!
My little gal needs a good lubricating before she's ready for a ride longer than a few minutes but I feel good having her up on air again and functional. That's the start we can all hope for. In some cases, the outcome.

That bike is a STUNNER, but you had me at Pork Belly Fries 🥴 delicious

Thank you! It makes a good table while eating.🤓 I plan to ride it around Denver today with the boys from the OBC Bluz Cruz. ✌️

Korean is my favorite & not much around Northern Colorado. This was incredible!! Had a couple of flashbacks of being stationed in Korea while enjoying it.....:inlove:

With work being really busy lately it was nice to get a couple of hours at the pump track on my dirt jumper yesterday to relieve some stress.🙂

One of the OBC! Very Cool!
I've lived in just about every place around Colorado, but always wanted to BE there. I know that nature is the space I seek and the place I'd love to ride in. I'm envious of your venues for beautiful rides.
Also! Thank you for your service!
I can only imagine the nostalgia that comes with for you but man, do I know good Korean and Thai 🤤 so much so, I'm sure I'll end up with a "Take-out" bike creation that has a thermal lining to a cool basket/container for when I go out to pick up food locally and have a fine little table the same. I sure do miss my Snap tank and how it sat in a drop stand when I wanted to just.. Sit on a bike, feet up and not move.

The love affair, continued.. 😄

Since Blu couldn't make it for Bluz Cruz we took a vote while Barb was on the phone that she would be the Leader for the day. She did an outstanding job & we may make her new position permanent!! :cool2:

I traded bikes with my friend Chad & got to ride his Roadmaster Supreme rat w/curly Shelby bars. Here he is on my Flying Ace.

A hot day out but we had a blast! We also stopped to pay respect.....

There are many Ghost Bikes around the Metro area. One was removed by a municipality & being replaced with a sign to be in code. Motorists don't read signs(unless it pops up on their Almighty Glowing Rectangle) but a Ghost Bike is an instant visual reminder.

Took the 64 Columbia out for a shake down yesterday it rides really smooth.

Then a little later I took Middle Aged out for a cruise around the neighborhood.
Think I need to raise the seat a little bit but overall it's a real good rider.

That location is Just Outstanding. Beautiful place to ride and surely a good ride to do it on.
Highly recommend it for anyone in the area. Very well packed primarily gravel trail. Could easily be done with street tires. Many trestle and bridge crossings. 53 miles end to end

Sounds great! I have to transport my bike 5 miles to get to a decent place to ride. I went out this morning before the rain hit. No car or motorcycle stops at intersections, it's like playing chicken in my neighborhood.

The theme for last night's Bike Night was "Neon" so I rode my Neon Black Felt Bandit! 🤓 Actually I forgot what the theme was & don't have any neon...🤣

We ended up taking a silly route along part of the bikeway. Not conducive with a large group. We had around 70 riders that got strung out for a mile but the light rain produced a rainbow for most of the ride.

Occasionally turning into a double rainbow!

A friend and I bailed before the route got really skinny/single file & checked out a new distillery. Not into fruity drinks but since the only time I eat peaches is when the Palisade Peaches are ready, I had to try their featured special mixed by the inventor. I was very surprised!! Delicious.

Just so you know, the best peaches in all the land grow in Western Colorado. Not Georgia. :dance2:

Beautiful chopper. Love to see these rides! Got me guessing; even though the Netherlands has the best bicycle lanes and traffic... Me thinks that the US is also quite the bicycle country in itself.
