The 135mm Plena lens is awesome.

Thanks. Mostly on a bike I carry a 50mm Prime shooting at f/1.8-f/2.8 on a Nikon Z7. The shot above is with a Nikon Z9 and the amazing Nikkor 135mm Plena Lens at f/1.8.

Expensive pro gear, but I have a content production/photo and video business - tools of trade.
Sweet! I normally use a Nikkor 18-140mm telephoto lens at f/11 or close to it on my Nikon D7100. It's a pretty good middle-of-the-road setting for me, as I can get most everything I want in focus quickly, but still have a shallow enough depth of field to blur the background a bit. I need to do more shallow depth of field stuff like what you're doing though! I forgot just how cool that can be!

I'm more of a hobbyist admittedly, but I need to start touching up my best shots so I can sell them as prints. Heck, I just want to get out and do more photography in general! I haven't been using the Nikon nearly as much as I ought to!

My 92 Nishiki Manitoba, mid single speed conversion.
Wow that's nice. I'm a bit of a Nishiki/Norco fan, do you have any pics of it in original condition?
*nothing wrong with the conversion, just curious about how it was originally equipped, not a model I've seen bef

BCA Rock Blaster.
Kids bike with 20x3 tires. I rebuilt it as an adult "sting ray" with longer cranks, new apes, longer seat post, nos banana seat, all new longer cables. The apes are 22.2 mm so I had to track down a 1 1/8 x 22.2 mm threadless bmx stem. Removed most of the decals. The oem plastic spoke guard crumbled at the touch so I lightly painted a rusty chrome steel spoke protector for it which looks good. The cut outs in the spoke guard match the sprocket holes. BCA claims to be "assembled" in the USA. Has a Kent International sticker on it and the serial number matches Genesis numbers (walymart brand).

Found this in the scrap heap some weeks ago, rusty and covered in bird poop.

I gave it a quick overhaul and want to do some touring later this year on it because it's so comfy.
Then I test fitted the gear over the weekend and decided to take the longer way to the office this morning.

It was the right decision...

Needs a sticker that says "My trash bike is cooler than you"

I went to give a guy a quote for his Interstate Move & he mentioned he had a bike that wasn't going since he got a new ebike & did I know anyone that could use it. Told him I'd take a look when we got to the garage.

Well, he gave me a LeMond Poprad Disc from around '07 & one of the last under the Trek umbrella. In my size! :13:

So yesterday I tore the electronics & saddle bag off, flipped the stem, swapped pedals w/my MTB, gave it a bike shop wipe down & mini tune before a spin to see whassup whiddit. Took a minute to remember how to ride a performance skinny tire bike, clipless but was a blast once I warmed up & let some air out of the 32c tires. What a blast!! Can't wait for upgrades & fatter tires to build a go almost anywhere bike!!🤓
